Obstructive Sleep Apnea – PAP & Beyond Meeting
‘Obstructive sleep Apnea – PAP & Beyond’’ was organised on the 18th of February 2024 at the S P Jain Auditorium, Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences. We had 14 faculty and around 100 delegates which comprise of a mix of pulmonologist, ENTs and dentists. This meeting helped our colleagues to recognize, manage common sleep disorders and help to understand the nuances of an investigative approach towards sleep disorders.
During the meeting the following things were discussed and the hands on sessions helped doctors understand these better, (Oral Appliances, Surgery: Lifestyle Changes). During the meeting discussions on the efficacy, benefits, drawbacks, and patient preferences for these different treatment options, as well as any recent advancements or research findings in the field of sleep apnea treatment were discussed and there was good interaction between the faculty and delegates.
