Adult Vaccination Update Meeting
The Adult Vaccination Update was held at the Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences on Sunday, January 21, 2024. As adult vaccination guidelines were continually evolving, especially concerning COVID-19 vaccinations this meeting was organized to create awareness of all the adult vaccines available in India and how these can after administration reduce the hospitalization in elderly patients. Through this meeting we aim to encourage vaccination among adults, emphasizing the importance of immunization against not only COVID-19 but also other preventable diseases like influenza, pneumonia, tetanus, and shingles. We had 10 faculty doctors and 85 delegates who attended this meeting.
